The Brooklyn Free Clinic (BFC) is a student-run free clinic addressing health disparities in Brooklyn through service and education at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. This Won’t Hurt: A Benefit for The Brooklyn Free Clinic is an annual fundraising event with live music, a silent auction and a comedy show hosted at The Bell House with all ticket proceeds going towards the BFC. The event will start with a happy hour, where guests can enjoy food and drinks and peruse items up for auction in addition to BFC merchandise. SUNY Downstate’s very own student band, the p53’s, will also be performing. Afterwards, there will be a comedy show. Our musicians and comedians will be donating their time and talent to support our clinic and the patients we serve.
